Two letters.
One family.
JS GRAND is a family endeavour. A hall built for the weddings we ourselves grew up attending in Kumbakonam.
The town has been hosting weddings since the Cholas. Sarangapani Temple turns 1,200 years old this Mahamaham. The agraharam streets ringing the tank have seen more saptapadis than the rest of us will see sunrises. We did not invent any of this. We chose to host inside it.
The hall takes its restraint from the temples around it: stone, light, and the discipline to leave room for what matters. Where older mahals leaned on gilt and mirror, we leaned on warmth and air. The result is a venue that photographs like a modern home and gathers like an old family one.
We host the wedding. You host the family.

The hall photographed itself. We didn't dress a single corner. Our parents are still talking about the courtyard.
We had elders from three states, and not one of them had to ask twice for anything. The single-coordinator part is what made it work.
Eight minutes from Sarangapani Temple to the mandapam. At this scale, that is the whole point.
